Terms of Service

Last updated September 4, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Hickra Golf LLC(“Hickra”, “we”), which operates the marketplace at hickra.com. By creating an account, listing an item, or buying one, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Hickra.

Where Hickra is today

Payments are live. They launched on 30 August 2026, and the sections below about buying, fees, returns, and payouts govern every transaction from that date.

Who can use Hickra

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, list, or buy.
  • You must provide accurate information — a real email address, and when selling, the identity and payout details our payment provider requires.
  • One person, one account. Stores may have multiple members, but every member is a real, identified person.
  • We may refuse, suspend, or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say which rule was broken when we do.

What Hickra is — and is not

Hickra is a venue. Sales are contracts between the buyer and the seller; Hickra is not a party to them, does not own or inspect the items, and does not guarantee that a listing is accurate — the seller does. What Hickra provides is the venue, the payment rails, the catalog data listings are checked against, and the dispute process described below.

Where a listing shows a specification marked Verified, that means the value matches the manufacturer’s published specification for that model in our catalog — not that Hickra has physically inspected the item. Values marked Seller-stated are exactly that.

Listing an item

  • The listing is the contract. Everything you state — condition, specifications, disclosures — is what the buyer is agreeing to buy. Describe the item honestly, including damage: cracks, dents, sky marks, rust, alterations, and missing pieces.
  • Photos must show the actual item for sale. No manufacturer product shots, no photos of a different copy of the same club, no other sellers’ photos.
  • A listing that is visible is available. Sold or unavailable items must not be left up.
  • You must own the item and have it in hand. Listing on behalf of someone else requires a store account with that arrangement disclosed.

Items that may not be listed: counterfeit or replica clubs, or anything represented as a brand it is not; stolen goods; items you do not own and hold; anything that is not the item pictured; and anything outside golf equipment, apparel, technology, and accessories. We remove listings that break these rules and may suspend the accounts that post them, and we report counterfeits and stolen goods where the law requires.

Buying

  • A purchase is a binding order at the listed price plus stated shipping. There is no buyer fee — the price you see is the price you pay.
  • Payment is processed by Stripe on Stripe’s own hosted checkout. Hickra never sees, handles, or stores your card number.Card details go to Stripe directly and are governed by Stripe’s terms and privacy policy.
  • If you choose to save a card for future purchases, it is saved with Stripe, not with Hickra — including through Stripe Link, if you use it. We can see that a payment succeeded and the last four digits on your receipt. We cannot see the card, and we cannot charge it without you completing a checkout.
  • Pay only through Hickra. A transaction moved off the platform to avoid its protections has none of them, and arranging one is grounds for account closure for both parties.

Returns: 3 days, not-as-described only

Sales are final unless the item does not match its listing. Hickra is a used-equipment marketplace between real people; it is not a retailer, and there are no change-of-mind returns. What you are protected against is misdescription: the wrong item, an undisclosed crack, a condition materially better in the listing than in your hands, a spec the club does not have.

  • You have 3 days after delivery to inspect the item and report a problem through Hickra. After 3 days the sale is final. The seller is paid a day after that, so a problem raised near the end of the window is never racing a payout.
  • “Delivery” means the carrier’s delivered scan, or the handoff for a local pickup.
  • A seller has 2 days from payment to mark an order shipped. If they do not, the order is cancelled, the buyer is refunded in full automatically, and the listing returns to sale. Nothing is deducted from either side.
  • If a claim is granted, the buyer receives a full refund of the item price and original shipping once the item is returned in the condition received. Return shipping is paid by the seller, deducted from the seller’s settlement.
  • Claims are decided by Hickra, on the evidence: the listing, its photos, the disclosures, and the buyer’s photos of what arrived. That decision is final within Hickra, and does not limit rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

Shipping

Sellers set a shipping price on each listing and ship the item themselves. Hickra shows an estimated box size and weight for the category and quotes a rate from it, so a seller can see what a buyer will be charged before publishing.

  • The shipping price on a listing is what the buyer pays. It is collected with the item price at checkout and passed to the seller as part of the settlement.
  • If the real label costs more than the seller quoted, the seller carries the difference, deducted from their settlement for that order. The estimate Hickra shows is a guide, not a guarantee, and a seller who ships something heavier or larger than the estimate should adjust the price before publishing.
  • A seller has 2 days from payment to mark an order shipped. If they do not, the order is cancelled and the buyer is refunded in full, automatically.
  • Some items are genuinely awkward to ship — a full bag of clubs is heavy and oversized, and the boxes for it are not shelf items. Nothing obliges a seller to offer shipping; a listing may be local pickup only.
  • Risk of loss passes to the buyer on delivery. A parcel lost or damaged in transit is a claim against the carrier, and Hickra will provide the tracking and label records needed to make one.

Local pickup

A seller may offer local pickup instead of, or as well as, shipping. Pickup listings show an approximate area, never an address.

  • Pay through Hickra, even in person. A pickup is still a Hickra order: the buyer pays at checkout and the same protections apply. Cash on the doorstep has no inspection window, no claim process, and no record — and arranging one to avoid fees is grounds for closing both accounts.
  • The exact address is exchanged between buyer and seller only once an order exists, and is never shown publicly.
  • For a pickup, “delivery” is the confirmed handoff, which starts the same 3-day inspection window a shipped order gets.
  • Meeting in person is between you and the other party. Hickra does not arrange, supervise, or vet meetings, and is not responsible for what happens at one. Meet somewhere public in daylight, and bring someone if the amount is large.

Fees and payouts

  • Individual sellers pay 9% of the total sale (item plus shipping), with payment processing included and a $1 minimum. Listing is free. Buyers pay no fee.
  • Stores pay $29/month plus 7% of the total sale, all-in.
  • Where the money sits between payment and payout.A buyer’s payment is collected onto Hickra’s own Stripe balance and stays there until the sale settles. It is not an escrow account and not a trust account; it is Hickra’s balance, and the obligation to pay you is a contractual one under these terms.
  • Payout releases a dayafter the buyer’s 3-day inspection window closes without a claim, so a problem raised near the end of the window is never racing a payment. Once released, the money is transferred to your connected Stripe account.
  • Setting up payouts is not required to list. You can write and publish listings first. Buyers cannot check out on your listings until payouts are set up, so it is worth finishing before someone wants to buy.
  • Payouts go to the account you connect through Stripe — a bank account, or a debit card where Stripe supports it. Hickra never sees or holds your bank details or card number. Getting money from your Stripe balance to your bank or card is between you and Stripe, on a schedule you control; where Stripe charges for an instant payout, that fee is theirs and is taken from your payout, not by Hickra.
  • Stripe requires identity verification before it will pay anyone — name, date of birth, address, and part of a government identifier. That is a legal requirement on Stripe, collected by Stripe on its own pages. Hickra is told only whether you are verified, never the answers.
  • The fee schedule in force when an order is placed is the one that governs it. If fees change, the change applies to future orders and we will tell you before it takes effect.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes on what you sell. Where the law requires it, Stripe issues tax forms (such as a 1099-K) for your sales.

Conduct

  • No harassment, threats, slurs, or abuse of another golfer.
  • No requesting or sending payment outside Hickra, and no sharing contact details in messages before a transaction requires them.
  • No manipulation: shill bidding on your own items, coordinated fake interest, review or rating fraud, or scraping other sellers’ listings.
  • Messages between buyers and sellers may be screened by automated systems for fraud and prohibited conduct, as described in the privacy policy.

Your content and Hickra's

  • You own what you post. You grant Hickra a non-exclusive licence to display, store, and reproduce your listings, photos, and profile content in order to operate and promote the marketplace, ending when the content is deleted except where copies must be retained for legal or dispute purposes.
  • Hickra’s name, marks, design, catalog, and software are Hickra’s. Golf-brand names on listings identify the products for sale; no brand endorses or is affiliated with Hickra.
  • If you believe content on Hickra infringes your copyright, email privacy@hickra.com with the listing link, what you own, and how to reach you, and we will act on valid notices consistent with the DMCA.

Disclaimers and limits

Hickra is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Used equipment is used: fit recommendations (SwingFit, ClubMatch, fittings) are informational starting points based on what you tell us and what listings state, never a guarantee that a club suits you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Hickra’s total liability to you for any claim arising from the service or a transaction is limited to the greater of the fees Hickra earned from the transaction in question or $100. Hickra is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts of buyers, sellers, or carriers. Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these limits; where they do not, they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

You will indemnify Hickra against third-party claims arising from your listings, your items, or your breach of these terms.

Disputes with Hickra, and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim against Hickra, you agree to email support@hickra.com and give us 30 days to resolve it informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding arbitration in Arizona on an individual basis under the American Arbitration Association’s consumer rules — not in court, and not as a class action — except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing support@hickra.com within 30 days of first accepting these terms.

Changes and closing your account

  • We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top always states the current version. Continuing to use Hickra after the effective date is acceptance.
  • You can close your account at any time from Account settings. Orders already in flight finish under these terms, and content needed for open disputes or legal obligations is retained as the privacy policy describes.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Where the breach is not fraud or safety, we will warn first.
